Art and the Missing Tooth
The story behind this one is...
Dad had to get an implant. Usually when getting an implant, the patient will wear a temporary crown, but that cost money of course. Dad said, "Why would I want to pay a thousand dollars for something that's only going to last a few months!?" Those of you who know Art also know that it's not worth the effort trying to explain the value of aesthetics or the power of physical appearance and impressions.
Obviously he opted not to get the temporary crown. We still await the implant. . . In the mean time, we try not to let him out much...
